Storyline

Suzanna Reid read the latest news headlines and Chris Fawkes forecast the Weather. Sarah Sands from The Readers Digest, and Skills Minister David Lammy MP reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. Boris Johnson, the new Mayor of London, spoke to Andrew about what his tenure as Mayor will entail such as "boot camp" for excluded children, fighting knife crime, the introduction of the new generation of Route-Master buses, financial management of Europe's largest city and many others. David Tennant, the current "Dr. Who", spoke to Andrew about his life as an actor especially his current role as Hamlet in the theatre. Home Secretary Jacqui Smith MP talked to Andrew about how the government responds to terrorism especially the current legislation progressing through Parliament which contains the controversial forty-two days detention for terror suspects.
